The Coin- Operated Artist Build

So the installation has been made, performed in few locations around the country and now is back in storage since the last post. But, as promised here are the photos from the rest of the build. The offical page with all information and photos of the actual show is coming very soon but for now join and 'like' my new facebook page to make sure you get all the updates as soon as they come out.

Bit of a jump now and also almost the last image but everything went very mental after the point of the photo above. Had no space or time capacity to be able to even think about taking photographs during the final weeks of gettting it ready. The photo below is bad but it's a picture of the back of Pete Montford's wall when it was installed at the Secret Garden Party.
The electrics grew and grew until it was an almost incomprehensible jungle of wires. But, at the end of it all, it worked and it was understandable. But only with huge thanks to Mr. Tom Allan amd his massive hands in this whole project. Without him it'd never have got to the level it did, and long may the progression continue! Here's a photo of the finished product at the Garden Party as a little treat for getting to the bottom of this ridiculously long blog! Look out for the plush new webpage coming soon!

Progression...

As promised here are some images. 2 and half weeks, and bags of cutting and screwing later here are a few of the results.. Unfortunately the weather got the better of me today so the main construction itself is hidden but it'll only make the next update better!

A few images from last week..

The panels done.

And today...

"What's he Buillding in there?"

The barn on a break

One colomn structure done.

There will be more to come. 4 weeks and counting until the first show in Reading's Forbury Gardens, June 16th. Put it in your diarys. Fingers crossed the piece wont look anything like this, it'll be knock out by then!

The Coin-Operated Artist

Wow, almost a year since my last post, but at least a lot has happened. 2 shows from before Christmas still not even online yet but more excitingly and importantly 2 shows coming this Summer, taking OTTER to a new level and new audience.

Over the weekend of the 21st-24th July, OTTER with Pete Montford as the Coin-Operated Artist, will be at the Secret Garden Party. Soon after this they will be back in Reading showing at the Outside:Inside festival. Plans have been developing for months now but construction starts in the next few weeks. For those few of you who might know there has been a previous incantation of the Coin-Operated Artist shown in London but this is a new wholly interactive version way beyond the scope of the last one. I hope to keep updating this blog with photos and bits when they happen so keep a look out. This is going to be big.

Here's a little more bumpf to wet your appetites..
